With the Citation Styler Client Sync plugin for Zotero, you can install your purchased citation styles directly in Zotero and update them automatically \u2013 without having to download them manually.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Setup<\/h2>\n

Step 1: Download the plugin<\/span><\/h3>\n

Download the Citation Styler Client Sync Zotero plugin: <\/span>Download<\/a><\/p>\n

Important for Firefox users:<\/strong> Zotero is based on Firefox. As a result, it recognises the .xpi file as a browser extension and attempts to install it in Firefox itself. That\u2019s not what we want \u2013 the file belongs in Zotero. So click with the <\/span>right mouse button<\/strong> auf den Download-Link und w\u00e4hle \u201eZiel speichern unter\u2026“ bzw. \u201eLink speichern unter\u2026“, um sie herunterzuladen.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2: Installing the plugin in Zotero<\/span><\/h3>\n

Step 3: Validating your licence<\/h3>\n

Once installed, the settings should open automatically. If not, you can find them under Edit \u2192 Settings<\/strong> (1) links unten einen neuen Bereich namens Citation Styler (2). Trage dort deine Email address<\/strong> and your license key <\/strong>. You can find it in the confirmation email you received after your purchase. It is important that you use the email address you used to purchase the licence.<\/p>\n

Step 4: Install styles<\/h3>\n

Receiving updates<\/h2>\n

When a citation style is updated, the plugin will notify you that an update is available. Just one click is all it takes to get the latest version. You don\u2019t need to do anything else.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

When you validate your licence for the first time, it is linked to your unique Zotero ID. This is why you must have activated your Zotero account. If you have accidentally linked the wrong account to your licence,<\/p>\n
