FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

The style prescribes (4.3.1.6) that if there are more than 20 authors, ‘... Last author’ is shown. Why does this not work?
Unfortunately, FHM has a mixture of styles here (why not always show the last author or never?). It is not technically feasible to only show this for entries with more than 21 authors. This would have to be done manually before submission.

The style is to show the bibliography with indentation. How can I do this?
This is already built in by style, but must be set by you in your word processor. (Keyword style sheet indentation). Please consult Word-specific help for this.

Found an error?
With complex styles such as this, it can easily lead to discrepancies in special cases. Please consult the citation guidelines first and use a working example to check whether the data is entered correctly in Zotero. Der Download des Produkts war einfach und unkompliziert. Nach anfänglichen Schwierigkeiten, die hauptsächlich durch mein technisches Unwissen verursacht wurden, hat letztendlich alles geklappt.

Since my citation styles are digital products and I therefore have no way of "taking back" the product, returns are NOT possible.

Option 1: Double click on the file. Zotero should automatically recognise and install the .csl file.

Option 2:In Zotero, go to "Edit" > "Preferences" > "Cite" > "Styles". Click on the "+" and select the .csl file.

For other programs, please consult the documentation of the respective provider.

You can write to me at any time and I will be happy to check your guidelines. The best way to do this is to use the Your Custom Citation Style form, as I will then have all the information immediately to hand.

No. CSL is supported by a number of programmes such as Zotero, Mendeley, Papers etc., but both Citavi and EndNote have their own systems and my CSL styles are not comptabile.
